Ostap Shpik was born in 2001 in Lviv, Ukraine. At the age of six he studied violin. From 2012 to 2019 he studied at the Lviv Music Specialized School in the class of Mark Komonko.

Ostap is a winner of many international competitions: Kocian violin competition 2015, Stankovych violin competition 2018, Pro Art violin competition 2018.

As a soloist Ostap regularly performs with such orchestras as Lviv Symphony orchestra, Kiev national symphony orchestra. As a soloist and as a member of a chamber ensemble he played in such halls as Konzerthaus Berlin, Herkulesaal München, Graz Philarmonie.

Ostap took part in master classes of famous violinists: Boris Garlitsky, Andrej Bielow, Natalia Prishepenko. Since 2020 he has been studying at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt am Main in the class of Prof. Sophia Jaffé.
