Yi Zhong

Zhong Yi is a violin teacher at the department of Orchestral studies at Xi'an Conservatory of Music and the vice principal of the conservatory’s attached middle school.

Prof. Zhong is also a Master's Postgraduate Supervisor, member of the National council of Violin, concert master of the Symphony Orchestra of Xi'an Conservatory of Music.

Having graduated from Xi'an Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor Ma Shaokuan, she has also received extensive guidance from professor Liu Dadong.

Through her teaching career, she has published several journal articles and trained a large number of outstanding students.

As the concert master of the Orchestra and member of the Teachers’ Chamber Music, she has also participated in various exchange programs as a visiting scholar and played major roles in giving extraordinary performances in Europe, the United States, Hong Kong and other regions on behalf of the Academy.
