Lázár Tóth

Lázár Tóth is a Hungarian-German violinist, who started playing the violin at the age of five in Münich.
After moving to Budapest, he was accepted into the advanced level program for classical music of the Tóth Aladár Music School at the age of eleven. With him as a concert master, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of his music school won first prize at the Hungarian National Competition for Youth Orchestras, when he was fourteen.
He participated in international master classes with renowned artists such as Sándor Jávorkai, Erika Geldsetser, Kirill Troussov, Kristóf Baráti and Gyula Stuller.
At the age of fifteen he started studying at the Talent program of the Hochschule der Künste Bern in Switzerland with the Supervision of Monika Urbaniak and joined the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorium Bern.
He has been awarded with first prices at several international violin competitions such as the Kodály Zoltán, the Julius Beliczay, and the Kings Peak Competition.
