Leyan Zhuang

Zhuang Leyan, born in 2007 in Hangzhou, China, started to learn violin at the age of five. She has studied with Wen Huiming from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music since 2018 and is currently studying at The Affiliated High School of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
In 2019, she went to Japan for exchange performances. In the same year, she took part in the " Children's Concert", performing with the Hangzhou Philharmonic at the Hangzhou Grand Theater; and participated in the Belgian International Music Summer Camp, playing then an important role in the Outstanding Students’ Concert.
She has won the first prize in the Tianjin International String Open Competition; the third place in the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Competition; the Outstanding Performance Award in the Chinese and Spain International Music Competition; and the Gold Award and the Best Chinese Composition Award in the Xinghui Yao String Competition.
