Peiyuan Chen

Peiyuan Chen, born in December 1991, began to learn violin from his father Chen Jianxin at 5 years old.
In 2010, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music. He started studying with Professor Yu Bing and Chai Liang.
In 2014, Peiyuan Chen was enrolled as the graduate students of the violin major in the Central Conservatory of Music.
In 2016, Chen was admitted to the Jacobs School of Music, where he pursued the violin professional Performer Diploma-Solo Performance and won the highest scholarship and started studying with Mr.Sibbi Bernhardsson.
In May 2018, Chen graduated from Indiana University and started working as a violinist in Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra.
In August 2019, Chen has been chosen as the 1st Prize Winner of the 2019 “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition.
In October 2019, Chen won the 3rd Prize of “Music in the Vineyards” International Music Competition Senior Violin Division.
In May 2020, Chen won the 1st Prize of “the Muse” International Music Competition and the 4th Prize of “Lending” International Violin Competition.
In March 2021, Chen won the first Prize of Hong Kong International Violin Competition.
