Sabin Laviniu Penea studied in Bucharest, Romania with Gabriel Croitoru, in Graz, Austria with Silvia Marcovici and in Freiburg, Germany with Sebastian Hamann.

He has had extensive concert experience, playin in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Croatia, France, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Morocco and China both as soloist or as part of chamber music or orchestral ensembles.

He has collaborated with orchestras as CHAARTS chamber soloists, Würth Philharmonie or Badische Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
