Albero Quartet

The Albero Quartet was founded in Leipzig, Germany in May 2021. It consists of Korean and Taiwanese students at the „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ University of Music and Theater in Leipzig, Kaewon Ma (violin), Yeojin Lee (violin), Woojin Lim (viola) and Yi-Ting Lai (violoncello).

'Albero' means a tree in Italian. Albero Quartet will play music with upright and natural mind like a tree. And tries to transfer to the audience rich colors, joy of playing and expressiveness of string quartet. We are willing to extend our influence to the world like straight branches on trees.
