Jeongin Seo

Jeongin Seo began studying the violin at the age of five. She is currently studying with Sungsook Kim, violin faculty of the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts in Seoul.

In 2026, she successfully passed the Kumho Prodigy Concert Audition and is scheduled to give a solo recital at Kumho Art Hall in 2027. She has also received top prizes in numerous national competitions in Korea. Her recent achievements include 1st Prize at the Sungjung Music Competition and the Grand Prize (Overall Violin Winner) at the Korean Chamber Orchestra (KCO) Music Competition in 2025. In 2024, she won 1st Prize at the Doam Music Competition and 2nd Prize at the Strad Competition.

In 2023, she received the Grand Prize at the Kids Hankook Music Competition, along with 1st Prizes at the Eumyoun Music Competition and the Music Chunchu Competition, and 5th Prize at the Leonid Kogan International Competition for Young Violinists.
